I was so shocked to hear about Marcus passing away. When I came into my post as PSW last May I'd not really had much to do with Marcus before this but he was very welcoming and made an effort to meet with me to chat through his role and also the links between our roles.
He always took a genuine interest in people and it was always lovely to have a chat with him about whatever he'd been up to, seeing his grandchildren or laughing about how smartly he dressed when we had Ofsted!
Marcus was truly committed to his role and even when we didn't always agree we could have a respectful conversation and progress the situation.
I am thinking of his family at this terribly sad time x
