I’ll always treasure the best memories I have of Malcolm - at work, away at Toolbox Talks, the awards, Christmas parties and everything in between. I can still hear his laugh so clearly though it has been a few years since I saw him last.
Malcolm was an absolute diamond and I count myself very lucky to have known him and shared some good times. He was such a thoughtful, kind hearted, funny and clever guy who was so welcoming to everyone and would always be on hand to offer help if you needed it. I was happy to offer it to him in return when I heard the words “Natalie, my wee pal..” as he approached my desk!
The way I used to describe him to family and friends was ‘the fun uncle’ - everybody needs one and that was exactly what he was like. “True story..”
Such a heart breaking loss. Sending so much love to Malcolm’s family, who are very much in my thoughts x
