I've know Malcolm since I was a teenager. No matter how much Iain and I lounged around the house, helped ourselves to food in the fridge, played music too loud and made a nuance of ourselves, Malcolm always treated me with dignity and love. I felt welcomed into his home. He approached me with tenderness, curiosity and grace, the same way he related to everyone else. He was a remarkable, yet understated man. His love, humility and dedication to others will be always be held as a standard of a life well lived and a model I know I will try to emulate.
May he rest in grace and live on in all our hearts.
