Malcolm Robertson

March 16, 1948 - January 23, 2021

We’re sorry we can’t be together at this time to celebrate Malcolm’s life. There's no 'cup of tea' after a funeral service, but if you would like to share with us a memory, funny story or even a picture, the family would really love to hear how you will remember him.

We walkers had a scale we invented for measuring mud. This walk was deemed a 9/10. Another fond memory, which always makes me smile was walking at Spinkey Den and having to cross the stream several times, a winter walk, the stream nearer a raging torrent, Malcolm standing in the middle of the stream, helping the ladies over, keeping everyone safe. I remember joking to him, "Now Malcolm, you should be throwing down your cloak for us", and his merry quip," If I had one, I would". He was great fun, Barbara too, great to walk with and chat to, good humoured, and really cared that everyone was OK. If you had a fence or a stile to climb, a river to cross, he was always there to lend a hand. He will be sorely missed. Wish we could be there for you Barbara, but be assured Malcolm and yourself are never far from our thoughts.
