I first met Mrs McConkey about 30 years ago when I started to teach with Sharon.
She always welcomed me into her home with a broad smile from her favourite high chair. I always remember that she could quote many hymns by heart and her love of music was evident.
I can’t honestly think of a mum who was more loved and cared for by her 3 daughters and she truly loved her family in return.
What a comfort that it’s only goodnight...you’ll see her in the morning and that will be a glorious reunion!
