In addition to work we'd chat about travel, cooking, politics, etc. Chatting with her always made me smile and often even laugh out loud. We became friends after she visited Minneapolis for work and agreed to let me take her snowshoeing. We ended up at an Italian restaurant instead. We had some wonderful adventures traveling together. The London hotel 'scary cat painting', chasing down the perfect oyster in Cancale, France and the crazy Budapest neighbor are just a few of the fun memories she leaves behind. I will remain forever grateful I had the chance to know her.
