I have been thinking about Lindani for several months, not having received a response to an email sent back in 2019. Today, I decided to look her up on the internet and am absolutely shocked and saddened to learn of her passing. My husband and I did not know her well, but we shared some pleasant conversations about Zambia and Malawi, as well as her work in Ottawa. Allow me to share, at this late date, our deepest condolences to her family and close friends.

I will always remember Lindani as a shining, strong woman. You could not overlook her, because of her appearance, but also because of her beautiful character. A power woman a true female leader within Abbott (picture taken at Women Leaders of Abbott meeting). Thank you Lindani for working with you. You fought hard the last months and you kept strong for a long time. Rest in peace dear Lindani.
