A large part ,in every sense, of what made Goodwood what it is has gone with the loss of Kirk. A jolly chap no matter what the circumstances and always with a friendly ear to lend.Since I joined the marshal team in 2006 it has always been a pleasure to work with Kirk and his repartee on the radio will long be remembered. He was clearly in much discomfort latterly but nevertheless maintained that wonderful sense of humour for which he will be remembered. Rest in peace Big Man.
