I only knew Kate for a few months as I was new to the organisation but I will certainly remember her banter, her laugh and her the way she brought the team together. She was a bubbly character and im really grateful that I was able to meet her in person. Before she left for the Christmas break I asked if I could have regular catch ups to get to know each other better. I didn’t expect that she would arrange a call two days later despite being busy finishing things off before the holidays! And so im even more grateful that I was able to talk to her, not aware that sadly it would be for the last time. She would often ask me for updates on my wedding plans and during the break I remember feeling excited to come back to work just to share them with her… I may have only known Kate for a brief period but hearing stories from colleagues, I can appreciate how much she helped others and made a real impact not just in her work but the way she kept up high spirits. And that is how I will remember her. Thank you Kate for always being ready to listen, uplifting others and being a wonderful person ❤
