It was 1980, when I first laid eyes on Karamvir. He was visiting his cousin in our college hostel. Years later he told he looked at my feet and could still describe the sandals I was wearing. He had an eidetic memory for detail.
We both loved to read, he introduced me to the sci-fi and fantasy genre and I introduced him to classics. Many, many years later when we met, I was reading fantasy and he was reading the works of O’Brian.
I have been writing and editing for most of my adult life, but at this time words forsake me. I loved him greatly. I hope his spirit finds the peace of release.
Karamvir, you will not be forgotten.
