June Stolk-Kent

June 11, 1928 - November 9, 2020

June was born in London, during her younger years she traveled the whole globe working for Shell as a teacher. After marrying Jan and the birth of her two boys Richard & Chris, she finally settled in Voorburg the Netherlands. June was a fit and vital Grand "English" Dame, out and about on a daily basis even in her 90's, driving around in her little red car to her "main" shopping events, many sporting activities or doing one of her many social rounds.

Dear Richard and Chris, My sincerest condolences on the loss of your amazing mother. I knew June from the badminton club where nobody could ever believe how old June was because she looked and played like someone a good thirty years younger than her true age. She was fun to play with and against- and to have a coffee and a chat with afterwards! Her energy and zest for life and the way she truly made her age an irrelevance were absolutely inspirational and were a gift to all who shared her company. I find it hard to believe that we have lost her but I'm glad to have this opportunity not just to send you my condolences but to let you know the effect and impact your mum had on me and all those around her. God bless, Jacki xx
