There are too many qualities for me to list that I will miss about Julie. She never failed to make me laugh, but when she wasn't it was only because she was keeping an eye out for me, both professionally and personally. Knights won't be the same without you. My thoughts are with your entire family during this heartbreaking time. Tx

I joined AHK at the end of August 2017, so my first Christmas party came pretty soon after. My memory is of Julie's part in the event itself. On the evening of the party, I was feeling quite nervous about attending. A colleague and I arrived to find Julie checking-in the AHK guests at the entrance to our party area at the rugby stadium. She was cool and collected as always, in a smart cream, black and lime green dress (I have a thing for remembering what people wear). Julie dealt so professionally and in such a friendly way with the many colleagues joining the party who had clearly already been out for a few drinks or more. As the evening progressed, Julie kept getting persuaded onto the dance floor by a colleague who was dancing particularly wildly. Julie went along each time, threw a few moves then quietly escaped back to the safety of an outer table! I think she was up on the dance floor a few more times than she planned and she did it all with such good humour! My thoughts are with you and your family.
