I hardly knew Julie as I work predominantly evenings, but on the occasions I bumped into Julie she would always smile and say hello.
Over the years I quickly came to realise that Julie was very much a key component of HUC and that there was nothing she did not know. On really busy times (eg Christmas, Easter) Julie would always be present on the 'shop floor' offering support and sustenance and not once did I see her worrying or panicking (when many around her were!).
Julie had a quiet grace and dignity and seemed to genuinely care for others. My thoughts are with her family and friends at this time. Nikki x
