I met Jos in 2003 at the WorldSkills Competition in Switzerland. Jos was one of my best friends from the WS community and I will truly miss his welcome that I so became accustomed to hearing at each and every WS event. He was an inspirational leader and a great man who had a passion for everything Skills. Jos you will be missed. My deepest sympathies and thoughts go out to his family during this difficult time.

Jos de Goey was CEO of WorldSkills Netherlands, President and Chair of WorldSkills International. Jos’ passing means the loss of a charismatic, passionate and highly committed CEO. Our thoughts are with his wife Anouschka and their children Charlotte and Torsten.
