John Witt

September 21, 1962 - August 28, 2021

Dedicated to John Witt from his Capsticks family. Following the recent loss of John, we wanted to provide a place for his colleagues and friends at Capsticks to share their fond memories and photos of John and leave messages for his family. John joined Capsticks 24 years ago last week to establish from its inception to what is now our highly reputable regulatory practice and was a leader in his field. Capsticks would not be the firm it is today without John. Our thoughts are with John’s family and friends and his wider Capsticks family who will miss him greatly. John touched so many of our careers and lives with his kindness and was very much loved and respected by everyone he met including our clients and the wider profession. He was really one of the good guys. John’s loss will be keenly felt - most immediately, of course, by his family but also by the many friends and colleagues at Capsticks who were privileged to work with John for so many years.

A genuinely nice man who had time for everybody regardless. If you got in the lift with him coming up from the car park in the morning you could guarantee a smile, a chat and "have a good day" whoever you were. My heartfelt sympathy to his wife and family as their loss must be so very hard.
