You were the best of colleagues - enthusiastic, full of ideas, treated everyone the same both senior and junior, always positive and trying to help make things happen. In the many years I knew you we never had a cross word; you were always friendly and happy to meet. Always self effacing and never drawing attention to the depth of your knowledge or all the work you had done. The Flu and RSV research community have lost a key member who published important research; helped disseminate knowledge and helped connect together so many from across the world. It was a pleasure working with you and I will really miss you
