Intelligent ,knowledgeable , warm , tough, funny , complicated , loving , kind , loyal and caring , I could go on for ever with adjectives to describe John. As has been evidenced by the reaction to his untimely death ,
he touched a lot of lives . He was always the go to guy on the desk if you had a technical question but his knowledge was so much more than ships and shipping . He was fabulously well informed , well read and a great conversationalist .
I will miss you John as we all will . You have left a big hole in all our lives .
