John Milner

April 25, 1971 - December 28, 2020

At times as sad as this it is hard to find the words to articulate both the individual and collective sorrow that the passing of John has made us all feel. This page in John's memory is where we can all share our condolences with John's loving family and let them know we are thinking of them.

John was more than a colleague, he was a friend for twenty years and I will miss him greatly. He was also a near neighbour for many years as we both had houses in Normandy in adjacent villages. Some of my fondest memories of John are from our two families' times together there. John was proud of his Yorkshire roots and was a keen Sheffield Wednesday fan, so there was common ground there, we were both always moaning about our respective teams. He was a great broker, a great bloke and an ever greater friend. I think the warmth of John's embrace in a couple of the photos illustrate perfectly what friendship meant to John. I am sure I speak for everyone when I say our thoughts and prayers are with his family at this very sad time. RIP John.
