I had the pleasure of knowing and working with John from his initial days at IFG. John was not only a great colleague but became a friend and someone that mentored, challenged and inspired me. John was very people oriented and recognised the importance of building, nurturing and inspiring the team around him which he did to great effect. He was enthusiastic and good humoured, even in the more challenging times we worked through together. John was someone you looked forward to seeing at events for his good company, interesting anecdotes and sage counsel. I will miss him and my thoughts are with Lisa, Daisy and Finn at this difficult time.
