Joan Crowell

August 9, 1924 - March 25, 2018

A true Renaissance woman, Joan was a free-spirited lover of the arts and perpetual learning, her vivid imagination enabling her to create art with anything found at hand. Attesting that music had saved her life, she shared this love with all her children and grandchildren. Travelling extensively, often unaccompanied from England to Greece, Egypt, Australia the Caribbean & Brazil, she lived independently with quiet discipline & daily exercise on bicycle and in water. Lover of nature, she loved to paint the ocean surf and numerous wall murals. Her fine wit and gracious manners were inspiring to all who met her. She considered others before herself and was by nature generous. She savoured every meal she didn't have to cook and described them with the most wonderful adjectives. Sadly missed by family and friends, may her spirit soar with the grace of an eagle.

Dear family, I am sorry for your lost. In this life, it just keeps getting harder losing a loved one. But our heavenly Father promised that one day he will swallow up death forever (Isaiah 25:8). What a great promise God left for us! Keep praying for this day to happen. Thank you and once again, I am sorry for your lost.
