I worked with Jim on and off over the years and as others have already described him, he was a very happy chappy, very family oriented and always quick whited. I never knew he was going through his battle despite speaking with him on a few occasions which shows his immense strength and character and during those interactions he was just Jim; always making jokes and always helping people.
