This is such heartbreaking news. I worked with Jim on three different occasions at SLC and he was a genuinely nice guy. He was always calm, friendly and never lost his temper or raised his voice about anything. He had a wonderfully dry sense of humour and was always talking about his daughter Emma. He clearly loved being a dad and when I returned to SLC for my third stint straight after paternity leave, he showed a real interest and always asked lots of questions about my daughter. Huge condolences to his family for losing such a nice guy, a role model and a gentleman.
