Jez was more than a colleague to me. He was a good friend - always ready to help, have a good time and give an honest feedback and advice and always positive and a good laugh. He would say it the way it is and always supportive.
Though it’s been years since we didn’t work together we always kept in touch and always met up now and then.
I’d like to remember him for all the fun days we had and the jokes we laughed about and the banter during our projects, lunches and drinks - it was always fun to be around with him. Most of all I will miss a friend who was always genuine and honest to himself and his friends.
When we last met and had lunch a few days before he left for Taiwan he was still positive and as always spoke with a lot of love for you - Eva, Maia and Amelia. I pray for strength for you all and hope you find solace and peace knowing he’s in a better place and no more in pain. “Death is not extinguishing the light; it is only putting out the lamp because the dawn has come.”
