Mum grew up in Yorkshire, and had an active life of horseriding, skiing, learning to fly, and European travel. She met and married Arthur in New Zealand, raising their 3 children together in Australia at Taree, Tamworth and then Strathfield. She had a full and busy family life, with her UK banking career being great experience to be Arthur's receptionist and bookkeeper. Her strong creative side glowed with her poetry, catering for parties, progressive dinners, games, compiling music, sewing dance costumes, and interior design. Constantly active with a vibrant mind, she was also a good friend to many, prolific with letter writing, and made many people welcome in her life. Fiona
