James Hudson

June 20, 1969 - June 25, 2021

James was a much-loved member of staff, who had worked at our school for over 20 years. This loss will be felt very deeply by all who knew him. He will be fondly remembered for his terrible jokes and vast array of ties! School productions, residentials and all things around the wider curriculum were James' passions, as well as being an amazing teacher. So many families within the wider community have had children taught by him, this is a huge loss for us all. Our thoughts are with James' immediate family at this difficult time. I worked with James during the six, very happy years I taught at Hamble Primary, until my retirement. It was a wonderful, special school and community to be part of.I covered classes for him, shared classes with him and lots more besides. He rescued me frequently when computer technology was at its most challenging and threatened my sanity.Much of what he taught me, in relation to Maths and IT, has been invaluable to me, then and since. His loyalty, honesty, and friendship were magnanimous, to match that radiant smile of his. R.I.P.James, a shining star.
