After so many years we truly are saddened that you really won’t make your class. But we’ll forgive you this once! You do realise that we will miss out on the cheeky banter, that bloody guitar, the tidy cupboard (despite having a class), but most of all, our friend. In all seriousness, we have lost an excellent teacher and picking a highlight would be impossible; Remember the bus you won in a raffle? What about the school of rugby kids you sent to Japan? The outdoor education you gave our kids; they kayaked they climbed, they got lost in the forest; you gave them opportunities they didn’t know existed. Who is going to call the dances? Who is going to be in charge of pods? Who will fix things when they break? The honest answer is nobody. No-one can replace you or even come close. Despite your moaning, we wouldn’t have had it any other way! Always in our hearts, always in our team. On behalf of all at North West Community Campus.

James you were a real gentleman and inspiration to all. When I started as a new member of staff at Max High in 2006 you took the time to welcome me and encourage me to get over to the staff room and meet everyone else. During my 11 years at the school you became more than just a colleague, you were a true friend who were there for me through the good times and the bad. You were always there to laugh with, moan with and even sing with in the base. We shared some good times together over the years and you certainly played a massive part in making my time at Max High the happiest time of my career. You will be sadly missed by everyone who knew you. Rest in peace James. GBNF
