You just made the whole mentoring experience awesome and way beyond my expectation. All the sharing sessions are like chitchat with a friend because friends make you feel safe, give you support and most importantly, don’t judge. Some more you are not a peer friend, you are rich in your experience and life wisdom. I can ask a lot of questions, no matter how seemingly stupid. You always tries to help me understand situations more clearly, why people behave in certain ways and what could be a better approach for me under certain situations. I once read somewhere that mentoring is like a brain to pick, an ear to listen, and a push in the right direction. I totally agree with it based on my experience with you. And now I lost that.
