I miss this girl so much. She was a fabulous friend. Her sense of humor was something special. Thank you for the love and the laughs, Ilze.
I was so lucky to have been able to spend time with Anita in Hong Kong, we spent a lot of time hanging out and going on dive trips together in Hong Kong. She was one of the first amongst the new team to go out of her way to make me feel at home. I'm so sad that I never kept in touch after she left. An enduring memory is when she borrowed my gopro while we were diving in PH together and she kept photobombing my crappy shots with it. At the end of the trip it turned out she didn't quite work out the on/off so I ended up with about 60 solid minutes of 4k shots of Anita's knee and no video of anything else.
This remains one of my favourite trips with Ilze, we had such a blast on this boat and couldn't have asked for better company on this dive trip!

I knew Ilze for a few years after I left Hong Kong in 2014. She was the most fun person I think I'e ever known but also the most loving and supportive, whilst also being the most beautiful. She taught me some tricks on how to enjoy life; she told me once her philosophy on life and I quote, "It came to me when I was about 6 actually because that is typically what a 6 year old would contemplate. I think it's quite simple really. I think we're here to simply to experience shit (good\fun shit not actual shit!) and live and feel life as fully as we possibly can. And learn of course." She was committed to this and made a total success of a wise philosophy. I never realised quite how much I love her and look forward to when we meet again. Much love always Ilze you'll be forever in my heart xx
