March 6, 1952 - January 22, 2017

A loving and devoted husband, step father, father in law and grandfather; brother, uncle; loyal friend; respected colleague - Ian's warmth, passion for family, generosity, curiosity and thirst for adventure are legendary. He touched so many lives and his passing has come as a devastating shock to us all. In our grief we wish to focus not on his death but instead invite you to join us in celebrating how he lived! Please use this site to share your happiest memories, photos and videos of Ian. We want his legacy and his ability to bring us all together to live on. P.S. Please bear with us as we work through the process of arranging his funeral. Further details will be posted here as they become available.

I wanted to express my sincere sympathy to Ian's family on his very sad passing. I thoroughly enjoyed working with Ian. He was a true gentleman and always had time to share his wise counsel and knowledge. HIs warmth, sense of humour and kindness will be greatly missed by us all. RIP Ian
