Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II

April 21, 1926 - September 8, 2022

This Remembrance Book is for the use of members of the Newcastle School for Boys community: pupils (past and present), staff, governors, parents and family members. The School - our pupils, staff, parents and governors are deeply saddened by the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.  Our thoughts are with all members of the Royal Family at this time of sorrow.  The Queen embodied many of the virtues that the School holds dear, and will always be remembered for her selfless service, her warmth, and her gentle strength in leading the nation over seven decades.

Thank you Your Majesty for reigning for 70 years. You were the longest reigning monarch. You showed us how to be kind and show respect to everybody. We will always remember celebrating your platinum jubilee. We have created The Queen Elizabeth II portrait gallery, in your memory.
