I've been devastated since news of your death, Aunty Henrietta.
As a young graduate in 2005 with a strong passion for sports journalism, I was always going to the National Stadium to see how I could get a link to work in a media house. God used Henrietta to hand me my first job at Hallmark Newspapers. Went to her, told her I would love to work with her. Her reply? "My brother, I'm managing a private programme (on TV). I won't be able to pay you." While I felt down, she chipped in, "Don't worry, I learnt Hallmark Newspapers are recruiting, the Sports Editor there (Clement Nwankpa) is my friend, I will call him and tell him about you." She also advised me to go to their office and drop my CV. The rest is history. She was a big sister with an ever-ready smile that I'll never forget.
Rest in peace.
