Harriet Rathbone

March 8, 1968 - August 23, 2021

It was with great sadness that we heard of Harriet Rathbone's tragic death in her home earlier this week, suddenly and unexpectedly. Harriet was an integral part of the Economic Crime Directorate, and was someone who brought people together with her kindness, humour and effervescent personality. Colleagues from across HSG, other parts of the Home Office, the NCA and NECC and UK Finance will all miss her immeasurably.

Harriet this is such a shock to everyone. From your immediate team right across many areas of the Home Office and much much wider such was your popularity - the impact is felt and you will be greatly missed. Taken far too soon. Your kindness and selflessness were in abundance as was your helpfulness and desire to assist people In their jobs. Your humour was first class and I’ll miss our Monday football chats. My sincere condolences to your parents and sister and family members and friends.
