I feel I'm still in a state of disbelief and find it more than a little hard to capture Hans' spirit in just a few words on a screen. Towards the end of last year, we saw each other after 20+ years. He recognized my voice in the UPTIME Center halls and made a point to come find me for a hug. He was always such a warm personable man whom everyone loved. Hans was an intelligent, driven, serious man when it came to solving problems at work BUT he never passed up the chance to have fun along the way. He was the perfect balance of a man and colleague & I know he will be missed greatly by so many people.
