I met Jhoanna just about 2 years ago in Discovery Bay, Hong Kong. She was extremely friendly and welcoming! Shortly after I met her, she had become a very important person in my life! We had coffee together all the time chatting about all different things while waiting to pick up our sons from school. We had lunch dates, playdates, Disneyland dates, picnics…together with our kids, family and friends. She had always supported me and given me lots of valuable advice and comfort when I needed them. She connected many families here in DB, so that we could all have lots of fun! She touched my life in so many ways. I will always remember the special times we spent together. She will be missed. Raphael, your mum was such a wonderful person. She loved you very much. I always admired her loving and selfless nature. She was a true friend and it was always a pleasure to have her around. If you want to know more about her, I will be here to answer your questions. Her memory will live on forever.

Hannah was 6 years younger than me and so back when I was maybe 16 at that time, she was 10. At that age, 6 years seems a large gap but then she was always sweet and game enough to pose with me....
I have with me a box of photographs from back in the day when there was no social media. In it is a stack of photos from a trip to Disneyland and Hannah was in most if not all of them. [I will share more]
Visiting the Muyot family in the Philippines with my American friends in Japan, circa 1999. A truly memorable trip that will always live as a truly wonderful adventure in my nostalgic memories, and where I could really feel close to Hannah and her family.
Sisters traveling the world see you in the skies Ate Hannah ! Love, Bunso
Message from Sidse.... Dearest Jhoanna I hope you hear this from your new special place of residence. If not, I hope you always knew this in your heart to be true. You were the life of the party and always had energy to go the extra mile for your friends and family. You kept bringing us all together in your grounding unpretentious way, when every now and then we drifted away in different directions. You truly appreciated and loved every one who came close to you and held on to those friendships with a tight grip. Your wedding was the truest symbol of that quality. Friends from near and afar that had your friendship in common showed up and bonded, celebrated, and danced for 3 days with your loving family. A showcase wedding on how to enjoy everything life has to offer! 3 weeks ago I gave birth to a little son. I wish he could have met you but I promise that your spirit will live on and be passed down in the stories I tell him. If I can pass on an inch of your energy, love, and curiosity.. then he will be a lucky little boy! It was an utter shock to wake up to the message of your passing. I have spent many hours since getting the news, thinking about you and all the moments we shared. Those memories will never go anywhere. What we shared, what we talked about, what we saw; it will all be with me for safekeeping and I know we are many to keep the memories of you and the life you shared with us alive. Thank you for being you Jhoanna! Love you sweetheart! SIDSE
Thank you for the memories, Hannah. Such a kind soul. We will miss you
