6/24 National Food Truck Day is a special day to champion food trucks and encourage the hardworking men and women whose food businesses support the local economy. People celebrate the day by purchasing from their local food trucks. Hana Khurram and I along with my friend Patty and her family attended St. Paul’s food truck festival last summer and supported Hana’s friend Bradley who sold donuts. Hana always believed in supporting the people she knew as well as black/ marginalized people’s businesses. I love you Hana and the way you supported so many people in helping them succeed. I miss you and wish you were still here to do fun things like food truck festivals. I experienced so many fun things with you.
