NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER - May 5, 2022 - National Today
May 5 is National Day of Prayer or National Day of Reason is for every person who does not recognize God or an established religion or faith. The key message behind this day is to provide a positive, inclusive alternative to the National Day of Prayer, valuing the separation of religion and government at the same time. Hana was respectful of people believing what they believed and accepted people as they are. Hana had a pie chart for living a balanced life which included prayer. Hana and Khurram were raised to pray 5 prayers as part of a pillar of Islam. Hana joined me in prayer for our holidays Eid al Fitr and Eid al Adha as well. My kids also were raised by me praying when leaving in a car, bedtime etc. I pray for us to be good, ask for protection from evil, to have God watch over us and keep us safe, and to return us safely together, in addition to prayers for others. God always has his own plans. I continue to pray multiple times per day in addition to my five prayers and I pray for forgiveness, protection for my kids, relief from struggles, and that Hana, Khurram and I are rejoined together in heaven. I pray that Hana has been blessed with a good spouse in heaven and that she is loved the way she was meant to be loved. I love you baby girl. I wish you were here with me and praying with me and for me. I miss you more than you could ever imagine.
