Gordon Kaye

April 7, 1941 - January 23, 2017

Gordon Kaye is best known for playing cafe owner René Artois in Allo Allo, which is set in a small-town café in German-occupied France during World War Two and follows the fictional escapades of resistance fighters. Allo Allo gave birth to catchphrases such as "Listen very carefully, I shall say this only once!" from Michelle "of the Résistance" Dubois and "good moaning" from a British agent who spoke bad french. He appeared in all 84 episodes of the sitcom and 1,200 performances of the stage version.

I would like to express my sincere condolences for the loss of your loved one. Death is truly and enemy and soon God will end all causes of our pain and suffering. Read Revelation 21:3 & 4 I find it comforting to know God is paying attention and will not allow all this anguish to continue for much longer. I pray you and your family find strength and comfort from God's word. 2 Corinthians 1:3 & 4
