Uncle Gordy (as he was known),
What a great time we all had growing up together with our many weekend outings as two families, he was young at heart and game for anything. Never without a video camera in the 80’s he was quite the early adopter!
Two abiding memories I have of him…..
His unfortunate mishap going down a slide at Temple Newsam and perhaps more memorable, when he nearly died laughing as my Dad revealed to him, his home made rabbit hutch that had been thrown together rather than built.
Uncle Gordy, you brought so much fun to our childhood growing up. You spent a great deal of time laughing at me, Helen and Joanne, mainly at our expense…. but we didn’t mind.
