Elder Gilbert Brown was known to me and my siblings all our lives. We lived in the same community, attended the same church and he was always a father to all of us. He was a great cook, dynamic singer and a no nonsense preacher of the Apostolic doctrine. Elder B, as we usually call him, would always have an encouraging word especially when we needed it most. We miss him but will always cherish the memories he has left with us. Condolences to Sis. Brown, his children, grandchildren, church family and relatives.
