Elder Gilbert Brown was one of the most warm-hearted persons I have ever known. He was kind, jovial, humble, and helpful. He always had a smile on his face. He was always there to help me out both on my trips to Jamaica and, in my absence, to take care of business for me. His was a life lived in service to others; valued not by what he took but by what he gave. Elder Brown fought a good fight; he was a faithful minister of the gospel. He is resting in peace and perpetual light is shining on him.
