Uncle, I cannot still believe that you are gone. Each day I wake up thinking that I will receive different information. But hey, its dawned to me that you are no more and Covid took you away from us. Last we spoke a few days after you were admitted, you were keeping very strong and hoping to get out of that hospital bed. I thank you for fighting for that one week and giving us the chance to give you our goodbyes though we did not know that we would never speak again. You have been my best friend, my mentor, my confidant and many more. I thank you for the many great memories we've had for the last 30 + years I have known you. I will treasure the many times I came to Eldoret and you gave me shelter and food and a place to unwind away from the busy city of Nairobi. I enjoyed watching you interact with your lovely kids and show them the right way to a good life. Such disciplined kids. Wow. You've served a great life of leadership at Little Lambs and the many times I visited the school, I could see the respect everyone accorded you. Well done Kiongozi. As the larger family of the Mukosi's, you were a great pillar in the family as you offered great consel, you supported our many initiatives and came through in big ways. As a family, we have lost a strong pillar. We will stand stronger together and keep honouring you. For your young family, we will stand by them. Thank you so much for honouring my late Mum by naming your first born Liz after her. I will take care of Liz and the other siblings as long as God enables me. Koma nesa uncle, we shall meet again some day. You shall stay in our hearts forever.
