Gerry Wilson introduces me to the wonderful world of lacrosse at age 13. I met many friends at junior level and the first stick I owned was given to me by Gerry (which I still have today). Even when I had a bad training session, couldn’t catch a ball to save my life and felt like giving up, Gerry was there with a kind word of encouragement. The Bucks junior team was one of the highlights of my teenage years and Gerry was an integral part to that. Gerry was there to support me when I was injured badly in my 3rd Men’s game and spurred me on to continue the sport when I started university. Even though my juicer with team was a rival to Bucks, I was still welcomed back into the club with open arms and a smile. Gerry you will be missed and I am grateful for all you did for me. Thank you for introducing me to this amazing sport and for introducing me to some great people.
