Firstly my sincere condolences to Geoff's family and closest friends. I first met Geoff at Wilmslow RUFC when he was referreeing a match there. Geoff was my first introduction to referreeing and he kindly supported me when he would officiate at the Wimslow Rugby Club Junior Tournament which I used to organise. When I eventually became a referee myself it was great to meet up with Geoff again and he was very supportive of me in my early years. A true gentleman who I am proud to have been associated with. He will be sadly missed RIP Geoff
