Gareth, You have my best mate for far too many years to count. From our first meeting, aged about 14, we seemed to hit it off. When you moved in just down the road, it was perfect. We went through school, Uni (well Poly but just as good) and life, initially, in Bristol together. You introduced me to my beautiful, now, wife. I bought my second house due to you. You were the first to meet my first born, Jamie, along with Lesley, and both of you were there when my nephew was born at our house. There are just too many memories to list. My Mum reminded me of how you liked very weak tea in the early days. A small thing but a wonderful memory. You meeting up with Lesley was a wonderful happening. From our side, it was a great match and we love seeing both of you when we lived close to each other. We didn't see that much of each other in recent years but always kept in touch and I had calls with you around your birthday and when my granddaughter was born. Such a shock to hear this news and I'm missing you so much. I'm so sad for Lesley, Lucas and Ifan, and can't imagine how hard it must be for you all. Gareth, thanks for being my friend and I'll miss you more than most people will know Sleep well Kevin

I was Gareth's manager at Secureworks. Gareth was a hugely knowledgeable, capable and effective member of the team, who made a great impression across the business. He was active across many aspects of Secureworks life, with a distinctive approach that could be challenging and quirky but was always thoughtful and thought-provoking. He was held in great affection and respect by all those he encountered here and is greatly missed.
