Gareth was a great source of advice and support in our postgraduate Hub (i.e. administative centre). He was unfailingly cheerful and helpful in the face of the complexities raised by exams and assessments. I went to him frequently for help over these knotty problems posed among our hundreds of PG students.. Time and again he helped me solve them. I am so grateful to him. He is sorely missed by me and other academics, just as he is by his colleagues in the Hub for whom he was a delightful colleague. My deepest condolences to his family. Gsreth was a really nice person and a superb colleague. ..
