uncle, i can’t believe you’re gone. i still have this memory of walking with you and piyush in mall in dubai while you were checking in on a store, in command of your work. you were always so confident, but kind. stern, but caring. you commanded the respect of everyone around you, but never with force. i always felt safe and cared for around you, even after us kids finished high school and moved away. we will miss you, and we hope you are resting peacefully, without anguish or pain. akki, piyush and family, my dad, sister and i offer our sincere condolences . i hope you get to celebrate uncle’s life, together physically or virtually as he would have loved.
