Ganpatsa you will remain the Boss of my heart!
Not many people have that privilege, if any.
Who in this world can have your kind of qualities of heart and head? Who will always beat you in caring for your welfare. I could never ask him how was he before he asked me elaborate questions about my health et al.
First time I really met him was when I went to visit his brother and my co-brother. I had no idea that I will be blessed by this bonus relationship with a regent amongst men, an angel amongst the selfish.
For the last thirty years or so, you have dominated my heart with your wit, care, smiles, infectious laughter, your tireless energy to be in ten places at the same time, your radar like awareness of what was happening in every continent and keen insights about all affairs. Your readiness to do the smallest errands, not only for me but any one I referred recklessly taking advantage of your generosity. I feel ashamed that you were already burdened by all the tasks for the myriad people who trusted and leaned on you, Ganpatsa, and yet you made my immaturity so bearable that I kept on indulging myself. Whether the person was a struggling professional, or a Sheikh, from Dubai or Delhi, a relative or a mere acquaintance, you made their problems yours. Your endless energy and empathy for fellow beings found solutions for all.
With your amazing personal, professional and social achievements you have done generations of Singhvi’s proud, Jodhpur proud, India proud, UAE proud.
In your most difficult moments too, when we lost Bhabhi, you kept your pain yours and continued to patronise all the younger and older ones in the family as if nothing had happened.
We will never come even a light year near you, but your memories will be the greatest treasure and hopefully inspire each one of us to inch closer to your towering personality.
We lost you young. Very young.
I guess the heavens could wait no more for getting you back, where you belonged.
In celebration of a man knowing whom was a rare privilege.
