TRIBUTE TO A DAUGHTER OF ZION FROM SOLID MINSTREL
Deaconess Funmilayo Afebuameh! Some call you Sis Funmi, others found a mother in you so they call you mummy. A woman of depth, caring, loving, firm and always championing a good cause....
Our ever-ready event planner, a confidant, a soul lifter, help even when helpless. Sincerely bearing no grudge. A CHILD OF GOD INDEED!
The Solid Minstrel Family home and in diaspora has lost an amazing soul who fostered peace, mended broken walls and poured her all in service unto God.
Praise Team will always remember your strong voice. The leaders; your honest scolds, encouragement and prayers. Our number 1 fan and cheerleader.
Your grand children all have asked after you to know when you will resume, it will be so hard telling the little ones you're sleeping.
Sis Funmi is (she lives on in our memories), a goal-getter, hard to convince to rest and like Paul said always ready to spend and be spent.
You have fought a good fight; Soldier and indeed you overcame.
As you joined the saints triumphant, surely your voice brings in that flavour of you in worship.
We miss you but we call God, Ever Faithful. Your Home Calling is a loss on earth and heaven's gain. Hell lost you a long time ago and we're grateful to God!
We continue the singing here till His return that we may all worship together again on the resurrection morning.
We pray comfort For Pastor, Joy and the entire family.
Until then, ó daaro, sleep well sweet Sis Funmi Afebuahmeh! SHE LIVES ON!!!
