Frans, you're going to be greatly missed by many of us. You have been a wonderful friend since we first met many years ago on one of your Provo trips. Your deadpan delivery of funny quips, discussing classic cars, and talking about our German heritage are just a few of the things I'll miss. I'll forever be grateful to you for finding those ancestors for me, which led to me meeting cousins in Germany I didn't know I had. You were always helpful to me and others and shared your knowledge with everybody. Thank you for all the times we hung out after work when visiting Venlo and showing me the good places to eat. I hope you get all the JayDawgs you want now:) It was a treat to make you laugh loud in our meetings and I appreciated you always telling me my German was good when practicing with you even though I knew it really was terrible. That was your kindness always coming through. You were so effective in all the positions you worked in because you always put people first and cared about others. I'm grateful to call you a friend and I'm glad we were able to work together for so long. Rest in peace my friend...
