When he came to visit Provo, I found that he had a love for the outdoors. He loved exploring when he got here. So invited him to see my land of heritage. Capitol Reef. Connie, Kati, Frans, my parents and I took a day trip out to see the Park. We looked at all the sites there that we could. Frans soaked it up. He had a thoroughly enjoyable time. And I was excited he seemed to love it as much as I do.
The next time he visited Provo, he drove himself to Capitol reef again. I was shocked he just took off and got down there on his own. But he did. And brought me fruit from the orchards there and left it on my desk. It was very thoughtful of him.
I enjoyed talking to him and enjoyed his great sense of humor. I'll miss him dearly.
